Mariana Buric

Author

Mariana Buric is a Romanian author and lawyer from Bucharest. She grew up listening to the stories of people from her village. These narratives, often centered around real and sometimes harsh experiences like the great hunger, the communist period, or the war, were captivating to her because they offered a tangible encounter with heroes. For Mariana, these stories proved that goodness prevails over evil and that overcoming life's challenges fortifies individuals. With this hope embedded in her soul, Mariana eventually discovered the joy of writing children's stories. She believes that genuine joy should be shared, as it is a "state of the heart" that cannot be ignored. Through her books, Mariana aims to make children smile and inspire them to become better individuals.
